Billy grew up in and around the real-estate business. As a teen, he was working with Enola on website and internet marketing for properties. This experience sparked an interest in internet marketing, graphic design, and photography. He began using Adobe Photoshop at age 14. Billy has since further merged his interest in photography with the real-estate business, he prides himself on the use of high-end equipment and editing methodology for customers.
He is most interested in unique and difficult-to-market properties, he enjoys developing a plan of action to market towards prospective buyers. Previous projects include the sale of a large parcel of privately owned land on the Santa Fe River with a 2nd magnitude fresh water spring and the sale of a motocross track that went viral with 250+ people viewing its website at one time. Billy believes that his experience in real-estate and a long background in internet marketing adds unique value to his office and differentiates it from competitors.
He was born in Miami, FL. His mother and father moved to rural Live Oak, FL, after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. The family became full time residents of Suwannee County in 1994. They made the move for the small town rural appeal. Suwannee County and North Florida in general drew their interest. Billy has traveled many parts of the United States, and still loves North Florida for its rural culture and beautiful countryside. He is a 4th generation Floridian.
In the local community, he served as a board member and Vice President of Friends of Heritage Park & Gardens, a local non-profit organization. He also served as a director for the North Florida Multiple Listing Service in early 2015 and was elected as Secretary/Vice President. He was the President of the Lake City Board of Realtors for the 2018, the local trade association for the 2018 term.
He has shared his expertise in choosing property on Jack Spirko’s “The Survival Podcast” an internet podcast with over 50,000 listeners that discusses rural and independent living.
Some of his other interests include firearms as an NRA Life Member, motorcycles, personal watercraft, the area springs and rivers, welding and metal fabrication as well as photography.
